This notice explains what Quick Access Capital does with the details you give us when you contact us about business funding. The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) says we must tell you this when you give us information yourself (s18).
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Who we are
Quick Access Capital (Pty) Ltd, company registration number 2023/796958/07. We are a business funding broker. We don't lend.
Location: Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal Email: [email protected] Phone and WhatsApp: +27 61 109 8482
Under POPIA we are the "responsible party" for your information. POPIA defines that as the body which "determines the purpose of and means for processing personal information" (s1). That means we decide what is collected and why, and we answer for it.
What we collect
When you call, WhatsApp or email us about funding, we ask for:
- your name
- your cell number
- your business name
- your email address, if you want us to use it
- what you need the funding for
- roughly how much you need
If you decide to go ahead, the funder will usually need more: bank statements, company documents and ID. We ask for those later, not on the first call.
We also keep a record of what happens to your enquiry, for example whether it was funded, declined or we couldn't reach you.
When you visit the site
This website does not have a contact form, does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking tools. Like every website, the company that hosts it (Cloudflare) handles your device's IP address so it can show you the pages and protect the site from attacks. The lettering on the site is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also asks Google for the font files. Our cookies page has the detail.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one job: to look at your funding need, contact you about it, and, if you want to go ahead, put your application to a funder that suits it. We don't sell your information.
Do you have to give it?
No. Contacting us is your choice. Without your name, number and what you need, we can't look at your enquiry or get back to you about it.
Is there a law that makes us collect it?
No law requires us to collect your details for an enquiry. You give them because you want us to help.
Where your information goes
| Where | What happens there | Where it is based |
|---|---|---|
| Emails to [email protected] arrive in our mailbox | Our email is hosted in South Africa | |
| Phone and WhatsApp | Ryan talks to you by phone and, if you prefer, by WhatsApp | We use WhatsApp Business. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC in the United States, part of Meta, and it stores information in data centres around the world |
| This website | Shows you the pages | Hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., a United States company with servers around the world |
| A funding partner | Only if you want to go ahead, and only the funders relevant to your need | Each funder handles it under its own privacy notice |
Sending your enquiry to a funder
We don't send your enquiry to every funder. We send it only to funders relevant to what you need, and only so they can consider your application. Before we send it, we tell you which funder we're approaching. Once a funder has your details, it handles them under its own privacy notice, and it will tell you about any checks it runs.
Your information may leave South Africa
If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp outside South Africa. POPIA lets personal information go to another country only on one of the grounds in section 72(1). We rely on this one: the transfer is needed "for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to the data subject's request" (s72(1)(c)). You asked us to look at funding for you, and you chose to contact us that way. If you'd rather your details stayed in South Africa, call or email us instead.
Marketing: we won't use your enquiry for it
Contacting us about funding lets us contact you about that enquiry only. It does not let us send you marketing.
If we ever want to send you marketing by WhatsApp, SMS or email, POPIA says we may ask you "only once" for your consent (s69(2)(a)). If you say no, we won't ask again. Any marketing message we send will say who it is from and give you a way to tell us to stop, as s69(4) requires.
Calls and messages about your own enquiry are not marketing.
How long we keep it
POPIA doesn't set a fixed period. It says records "must not be retained any longer than is necessary for achieving the purpose" they were collected for, unless a law, a contract or your consent requires longer (s14(1)).
We keep an enquiry for 12 months after our last contact, then delete it. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as the law requires.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. If you do, we can't help with that enquiry any more.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask what information we hold about you, and get a copy
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- object to us using your information, as set out in section 11(3) of POPIA
- withdraw your consent at any time
- complain to the Information Regulator
To do any of these, email [email protected] or call +27 61 109 8482. We'll reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.
